Light Painting in 360: How to Make the Spark-line Brush

Hey there! Matt here backyard again.

I’m gonna show you how to make the Spark line brush. The other day I showed you what some of the paintings look like, but today I’m actually going to show you how to construct it.

There are just a couple of parts that are required for this brush:

A yardstick or a meter stick (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Yardstick/3354882): whichever you have available. You could use other things this is just what I found it was inexpensive. I got it at my local hardware store.

You need a couple of tie wraps(http://amzn.to/2FWei2x)

Some LED lights(http://amzn.to/2tQwaGp) and some batteries(http://amzn.to/2tQx3id).

That’s all it takes let’s build it.

Step 1: Put your batteries in the LED light box.

Step 2: Decide how much room you need to leave for your hand.

Step 3: Use the tie wraps to fasten the LED light battery box on the yard stick.

Step 4: Wrap the lights around the yard stick trying to not leave a gap or too much of an over lap at the end of the yard stick.

Thats all there is to it! Just a couple of parts and a couple of minutes and you’ve got a brand new spark line brush that you can do some really awesome light painting with.  I would love to see any light paintings that y’all do so put those in the comments.

Until next time, I’ll see you around!
